I just went in last Saturday and was asked by the custom officer if I have filled MDAC. Showed the officer I have done so with screenshots of acknowledgement via email to officer. Again felt like half-baked. Thanks to wife earlier thoughts of screenshot the confirmation. 

This Singaporean got guts. Take sneaky vid when time and again, one is reminded of take vid is not allowed at any immigration. 🙂

I went in today. In fact I am in Malaysia now.  They never asked for MDAC.

Don't say go JB only, there was a big jam at penang airport on 2 Dec due to many immigration officer on leave, lacking manpower and apparently confusion over the digital arrival card. Travellers were asked to fill it, taking them by surprise and causing further delays.

Went in on Sunday by car, did the MDAC on Sat (just in case). At the MY checkpoint (BSI), i asked the officer whether car need or don't need and whether need to show to the officer. Officer's reply is car also need to register but do not need to show it to the officer because they can see in their system. Though i do not believe that he can see in the system, that's the official reply....

normal. and it will continue. if each passenger pays $5RM at each counter, to the officer. for sure many many many counter will open!!!

RM 5 not worth much now, can't hardly buy a meal except in kampong areas. Over-tourism drive inflation to the max there now.

Why go there spend our money if they don't welcome us.  Obviously going in Singapore car is there to spend money. 

We don't go let see who suffer.  They already forget the 2yrs border close situation to JB business.
