hhhmmm...and Honda is Japan but made in tomyam land...does it make sense? haha....:grin:

simple equation as we compare tyres as well - Michelin euro made or Michelin Thai made...

not saying Thai made no good...but...pay so much leh...over $200k leh..not $20 dollars..:wut:

In Japan, Accord is selling for JPY5.45m or SGD50k.

In Thailand, Accord RS (same as Honda SG) is selling for THB1.8m or SGD70k.

This car will likely have an OMV of SGD50k but KM margin is 30%.

Reasonable price is $250K.

i know is reasonably priced...but if I can afford 250k....i won't buy camry or accord lor...:grin:

as what terence2112 is alluding to...no brainer if compared to Merc...

anyway, can't afford both cars....just come here to tikam tikam...:grin:

But due to current crazy coe, 250k maybe cannot buy a merc or conti, can only buy camry/accord. Unless you are referring to the low coe era, if you can afford 250k, confirmed won't buy a Jap car la. Lol.

Honda Accord at $290k is not reasonable.

$250k is reasonable.

$250k can get you A180 or 116.

There was a promotion for C180 in midst August.

Now, you have to check it out yourself

If i spend $250k on a Camry, ppl say i tao hong. If i spend $250k on a 3 series or Merc CLA, ppl say i steady. Now that's the difference to me.

Just went for test drive with friends last weekend. 

The final price for the Elegant  model is $198k. With ARF of $40k+. And current COE or $96k. My friend had signed on the dotted line. Look like the profit margin is not high for BM.

But this car is very tiny,  really is a charboh car
