It managed to fix my foot pain issue I was getting with my nikes. It is pretty wear resistant also. For below 50 bucks, best buy. ↡ Advertisement

Cheap and lasting.

One touch opening Many brands many prices to suit different budgets.. I have 2nd thoughts about 3kW appliances. 230Vac x 13amp ~ 3kW. You plug into a standard 13amp socket, and the wires are probably not thick enough. Not much room for safety.

Anything wrong the fuse will blow first, not the cable. Just go ahead and buy!
therock Supersonic November 3, 2023 Author Share November 3, 2023 Ya good fuse my Kenwood kettles have been superb over the years I’ve used quite a few. They are used more than 20 times a day so despite the higher cost I’m very happy with them

Anything wrong the fuse will blow first, not the cable. Just go ahead and buy! Fuse has a tolerance for ratings, it may not blow exactly at 13A. And if you have cheap China made fuse, that's another question mark ? I bought lots of automotive fuse from China, cheap and really cheap. When I look at the thickness of the fuse, they all seem to be the same, although they are marked with different number, 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A, 30A... how the hell do I know they are not all the same and simply marked with different numbers? Unless I do destructive testing, I wouldn't know for sure. I ended up junking them and bought from more reputable brands... and pay more of coz. In my kitchen, I had a 13A socket, the plastic which melted. I don't know what happened then. My mom might have plugged 2 heating appliances in the sockets at the same time. Nowadays I'm more cautious.

But the new SAF running shorts (the latest generation) did away with the pockets again. So it's kinda a pain in the ass esp when i want to carry some gloves (for hanging on pullup bar) or bringing plastic bags for my dog. I tend to just tie my spare keys to the draw strings if present. Else I take a waist pouch... 😅
