I wonder what the IQ of Arabs are and I asked Mr Google.

If you understand how their global  history came about. Then there's social influences. That's why I said it's artifical selection. 

Let's give it some context.

In the past, given they didn't have any distinguishing inventions, empire formation, I doubt they were significantly more intelligent than their peers.

Due to the final destruction of Israel kingdom by the Romans. They were  not allowed to be a majority in that region. So they were either evicted or moved to all other European and nearby countries. 

Being relative late comers and not owning land, they usually settle in cities and as maritime and global trade grew, they naturally became inclined towards being middlemen. Merchants, bankers, clerical work etc etc. It's like we want to be doctors and lawyers. But in their time being good with numbers, know how to read and write is very useful. The masses didn't start to get educated until the industrial revolution. 

Why are jews always persecuted wherever they go? Cos they are outsiders and their natural pressure selected skills were valued in trade. They were more likely to be wealthy. More likely literate and good with numbers. Also nor likely to be envied and hence viewed with jealousy. 

The American jews fled to USA to flee religious and racial persecution and immediately set up Jewish businesses. They would pay for their extended family members to come over and set up more businesses. They work with each other so they quickly became a prominent community. Thomas Sowell compared this to the black immigrants and also the southern  redneck immigrants which were actually from South England. 

 

Some juice think it's also partly cultural due to the way their religion is imparted. I don't know too much about that but it's like questioning is emphasised. So more critical thinking?

Hard to generalized the whole community. There's a whole spectrum of people and their outlook.

There's the high tech juice that comes up with all the innovations and other advancements. This is what you're talking about. Questioning, critical thinking and all that.

Then there also the closed minded ultras orthodox segment that are just as radical and extremist as those they try to wipe out.

Of course.

You think liberal juice are the ones doing the settling and living in the settlements up on the borders, west bank etc? Generally these type of folk are usually conservative folk who lead simple physically hard lives in their settlements. 

No need for the excitement of the cities and diverse opinions. Even if they aren't the very religious type, they are at least devout religious. 

When u keep reading and thinking about an ancient text and sayings, you either get wise or Siao lol.
