Tuas don't have this issue.

At custom, people don't give way just for for the next.

If accidentally scratch others car due to whatever reason, pay up. It's that simple.

True but even the most patient can lose their cool after being repeatedly being overtaken and squeezed by PHVs and delivery vans and other idiots on the road, who are “rushing for time”. 
I guess everyone starts “fight back” at such aggression on the roads. Thus you get more and more such behavior on the roads.
