Yahoo News : Asian Games 2023: Wushu's Kimberly Ong clinches 1st medal for Singapore

SINGAPORE — Singapore earned its first medal at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou on Monday morning (25 September), as wushu athlete Kimberly Ong clinched a bronze medal in the women's changquan event.

The 21-year-old, who won gold medals at both the 2022 and 2023 SEA Games, was awarded 9.756 points following her performance at the Xiaoshan Guali Sports Centre. Macau's Li Yi (9.786) came in first, while Hong Kong's Liu Xuxu earned the silver medal (9.756).

5 out of 7 cum from header...we are simply too short and short of skills in defence...outnumbered the opponents in the box but outgunned by the fee opponents in the box 😅

Next time all lions or lionesses games just whack 5 goals and above sure huat...😂

I watched a bit of women beach volleyball. China vs HK and Thai vs Philippines. Sebei boring and not chio wan. Dont ask me about the score. Although they did some slow-mo replay with flesh and skin bouncing a little. Sianz, it still didnt turn me on. Gave up watching.

Wasted...Letitia missed out on the podium by the last strike to the wall in 100m women breaststroke...she was in the third all the way till that final strike just like JT in his 50m men free...their arm just shorter than the opponent...
