I use iphone 6 for 8 years before I changed. And that's also because the apps now need at least iOS 13 to run, which iPhone 6 could not support.

Otherwise I will use iphone 6 until it break into pieces or explode by itself! Best phone ever!

Still I haven't come across anyone who use their hp for 8 years.  😆

Like you said, even want to use phone for 8 years also cannot due to phone cannot support certain apps and forced to change phone. 😅 Anyway, seems like iphone quite durable, heard many people use apple for at least 4 years or more and still can use. But like no hear people use android phone for more than 4 years.

I tried out the flip phones. Way too heavy for me.

Not only heavy but the phone is quite thick. I prefer sleek and slim phone.

Even though last time during the samsung and motorola era which i find flip phone was very cool which i love to own one as well, due to saw those Kdrama during that era when flip phone was very trendy.

Unlike today, the iphone then was still a Steve Jobs product which I appreciated

I find eversince iphone no more Steve Jobs, the phone has become thick and heavy. Unlike last time iphone looks sleeker.

Nokia, Ericsson, if drop down the stairs, all the plastic case open up and battery come out. Assemble it up and up and working again. Do this with a current phone it’s likely bye bye display. 😂

i miss those old phones

I'm using oppo flip (kinda boycott Samseng mobile). Anyway weight wise is lighter than my previous op7t. Yes it does fold up to be thicker but it's also more pocket friendly for me.

I'm those kind who usually take out my phone when sitting down as slab phones are usually v long. But I don't have to for my flip. In fact sometimes I forgot my phone is in my pocket.

While I do start to like using flip, I feel the moto razr ultra is a better flip. Should have waited a couple months more.

Wonder why this T28 antenna so big and thick? 😅

I never own even one Ericsson phone before even during that era this brand very popular. I was nokia fanboy back then. 😁

Boh pian bro.......I don't quite trust open-source OS for phone from day one, and looking at the current scam issues,  you probably understand why.

I read that the iphone usb-c design was due to pressure by EU.

Otherwise, apple would have continued with their proprietary charging.

I am still on XR and bought in 2018....batt still ok, and i didn't upgrade the IOS....happy with my phone actually. Only thing is Cam is outdated...if i can switch to a better Cam..I will keep my phone.

Went to see and compare the IP14 Pro....actually is smaller than my XR....difficult to justify to change to Pro....if change must go for Pro Max liao...maybe next year....6 yrs with XR by then...:yeah-im-not-drunk:

thick because ppl want

- large battery

- end-to-end screen

- 2 or 3 huge camera lens

- Ring of magnets inside

- wireless charging coil inside

- Satellite antenna inside

- CPU with processing power rivaling laptop
