iPhone 15 / 15 Plus runs A16 chip = same same as iPhone 14 last year ... no change

iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max runs A17 chip = latest 3nm chipset 

i believe the overheating issue mostly affects the Pro version

but @Discoburg Pro Max no issue [thumbsup]

is M1 5G SIM card works in iPhone 11 which is a 4G handset?

i know it will only get 4G signal/speed ... that's fine

just want to make sure 5G SIM (M1 all new line only give 5G SIM) can work and get 4G signal in an old iPhone 

5G SIM should be backward compatible ... ?

nope ... not subscribing the 5G plan ...

just getting a new line as promo that comes with 5G SIM card

slap it into iPhone 11 4G phone for kids use

You should disable some of the power sapper features, such as AOD, lower screen brightness, enable dark mode, switch 5G to auto (not standalone), turn off location tracking, turn off siri

@t0y0ta AOD off on first day, brightness always in the 25% region, dark mode on seems the iPhone first have it, 5G auto on first day, location tracking off for most apps, siri off on first day as well.

I have always been an Android guy.  Recently gotten a vendor to develop an App and it requires the user to have an Iphone to try out.   Thinking of getting a used Iphone for this purpose and doesn’t wish to spend too much money.   Which is the most value-for-money generation?  Iphone 11?  Where is a good place to source for one, CompAsia?  Thanks folks.

Go ah beng shops that take in old stock - like red white mobile.

Get iPhone 12 - it will still be able to update to latest iOS (may be important for testing purpose) for at least 2 more major version.
