KInderland Child Abuse

When we chose our childcare, we choose based on principal. We stayed in Lentor but the childcare is at Outram… even when we changed jobs and it became out of the way, we stuck to the same place as the principal was really good. She really loved the kids and it shows and the team of the teachers she built, although not everyone us like her are fairly good.

At the end of the day, the teacher is not important as can change year to year.

Seems like no proper processes. Everything seems like an after thought and a reaction to the public outcry.
might as well put a feedback channel in charge just listen to what the public wants.
once again the parachuting of ex generals all over the place has shown that they screw up more than any success they can ever achieve.

As usual one la. They only take action when something terrible happened and when public 'protest', if not they would not check and ensure everything is in order one de.

While it is never easy to police all the centres, surely more frequent inspections should be done to assess the conditions of each outlets. Kinderland should not be just fine $5k, but make to do much more reporting on corrective actions and evidences.

Shouldn’t the CEO or MD of kinder land step forward to take the responsibility for the action of its employees I.e. teachers and principal?

if the top management does not recognise or acknowledge the lapse, then how can they ensure that this lapse would not recur in future to other children when the novelty of this incident is over? I don’t see such safeguard in place. As an early childhood provider, they should have uphold the standard and to set a model example to our young leaders. Through this incident, some young leaders may feel that the teacher’s action could be right and may follow suit to do it on others. This is worrying.

As suspected, the ex-principal was redeployed, not suspended or sacked.. their management also took their own sweet time to investigate.. seriously something wrong with kinderland management attitude towards child abuse..

Cannot contact victims? Like that how to say sorry them? So sad.

Actually one trick to get toddlers to drink their water is to chill the water and make it cold. They will finish the water on their own, no need to waterboard them.

But you know local parents la... drink cold water means get sick.

Have high fever must wrap more blankets.

Those old superstitions persist.
