Cos already knew 3 long year ago never announce then, and if tcj resigned,  it would probably be quietly forgotten quietly 🤔?. Who knows if anyone else offered that option too over the years. 

Party coming out in the open now instead of Feb actually suggest it was somehow forced by events beyond its control.  From Feb to now, something else happened that inspite of rideout and iswaran, they HAD to go public and take even more damage. 

And the alleged wp affair ... though video blur like bigfoot footage... being exposed now is so "coincidental". There seem more to this story than meets the eye so far.

And it isn't about the lovers.

You are right - the timing of the footage release is so coincidental that it seems to me it’s the political equivalent of the Rafael Trophy active protection system where a sacrificial projectile is launched in the path of an incoming warhead to protect the tank itself. 

Guess who’s expendable for the greater good then?

And I’m not excluding deepfakes yet. We have forgotten that they exist.

Precisely. Coincidentally or not the resignation don't need to be on the same day. A week or even a month apart would not had caused such a big hoo haa. Something might have triggered the resignation. The public condemnation by a nation PM. The revelation of WP "suspected" indecent affair on the same day within an hour apart. It spell conspiracy to me. 

If WP video was found to be deepfake then I would like to see WP taking a strong stand. Go after the perpetrator (poster of facebook) and all main stream media to task. If the video to be authentic then LP and NS must resign immediately.
