Basically:

- they knew after GE2020. PM Lee gave them chance and asked them to stop
- they never stopped. In Feb PM Lee gave them last warning. TCJ offered to resign then, PM Lee accepted but say need to do handover first. Meanwhile PM Lee said "this time really must stop"
- In July after hot mic incident, PM Lee talk to TCJ again, and this time he found out TCJ never stop the affair. So that was the last straw.

I imagine the last meeting in July, PM Lee sure very dulan.
