The 长江 just beside the police station is Pearl Centre lo. 😂 Across the road there is this Oriental Plaza also another cinema showing RA movie back then.

The building opposite Chinatown Point is People's Park Centre. There is another building nearby called People's Park Complex

Food for thought: What is the benefits of renovation / upgrading of food center if the physical conditions / limitation remains the same after the reno work? The only thing that come to my mind is higher rental for the stall owner, which in turn lead to higher food prices for us, the consumers.

Such non-beneficial upgrading work should be stopped, as we are wasting resources while doing so.

err.... you tell me why our roads always got dug out, patched up, and days /weeks later, dug out, patched up again, then whole thing re-surface until swee swee, and soon  the cycle repeat again.....

someone told me this is job creation, but I don't know whose job are these.

They can create job all they want. But can they patched up and re-surface the road in better quality and not just anyhow. Almost all the roads here are uneven and bumpy. Hardly can find a road which is smooth.

True, single lane ramp is an issue but unless they tear it down to rebuild or add another ramp, cannot solve. What I failed to understand is the gantry at the entrance of the car park or have they shifted? A single lane exit is not ideal. They should push the gantry to the end of the road and make it a one way 2 lanes road to speed up.

It'd be dangerous to crossing pedestrian if the gantry is at the end of the junction whereby it used be a zebra crossing but now a controlled lights. Yes, should make it a one way traffic to go in from chin swee road and exit only on the eu tong seng road and have the exit ganrty there instead. That way, vehicle coming out of the spiral MSCP only need to look at the traffic in the left direction. Or make the one direction flow of traffic the other way around...go in only by eu tong seng and exit only by chin swee side? 

Not sure if it's of ERP concern that's why it is left as-is...🤔
