It's an item on their bucket list and they saw it as something fun, enjoyable and relatively safe.

Can still stay at 5 stars hotel and have fine dining. What's to argue to comfort all the way? Got money, enjoy the fruits it brings. 😂😂😁

Not the usual rough it out road trips with sleeping outdoors under the skies and having BBQ over a campfire etc. 

This is the other side of the coin. A flip is $110k. The other flip, maybe less than $50k, heck, maybe $10k can do, use bike.

No need to get permits to drive a RHD car in a LHD country.

But overtaking is a bit tricky.

Have to ask wifey to stick her head out to see if any oncoming cars.

If stuck behind a truck on a two way road the driver cannot tell if its safe to pass the truck in front.

Anyway they are going for an adventure right?

until used to it.

So many times in Jeju I would turn into the on coming car lane.

25,000 km in 100 days. That is about 250km per day, leaving little time for sightseeing and to chill. It is meaningless to do a road trip just to see the roads/ highways of 20+countries. They should do it in 6 months.

For $110k, I rather pay for round the world cruise in a suite. Don't need to change hotel everyday.  The road trip may be an achievement but it won't be fun driving through so many countries yet seeing little.  Okok... To each his own.

I also won't...only cos I am lazy to drive so much. If there is some comfortable (and safer) way, can still consider.

But I know some people want adventure and the memories, so hope they have a good trip and a fulfilling one.
