Nothing wrong with his message, but the timing of his argument seems weird.

When I asked my wife she said all 3 current candidates arent ideal, so much so she wanted to void her vote. She felt that all 3 of them used to work for the same boss and same ruling party. All are untrustworthy. 

I told her the PE is not that important cos the parliament is the one in power. If the elected president plays the fool they can always throw him out and elect another. The winner is still the ruling party.

I told her my opinion will be either a lot of void votes or ppl vote opposition to send a msg. The oppositions are already making this a clown show with little respect to no respect. So expectations are not high. For the ruling party they probably wanted to see their own ratings after much scandals and talk about corruption from within.
