He released the ball too slow. 

In 5v2 or 4v2, the opposite defenders biggest fear is that the ball shift quickly.

Perhaps it was due to tiredness due to too many games played. Perhaps it was due to Man U's good fortune. Whatever it is, we cannot undo the pass and should only look forward. There are 2 more major trophies left to be won this season, so let's just concentrate on what is left instead of dwelling on what has been lost. Out of FA Cup maybe the blessing in disguise so that we can better concentrate on Europa League and Premier League. At the end of the day, even the almighty Pep and his citizens, won only max of 3 trophies in a single season despite the depth of their bank accounts. Klopp and the Reds, with a much smaller budget, can do likewise is already evidence of who is the better manager and which is a bigger club.

The game at OT on 07/04/24 is more important than this FA Cup. [sly]

Win that match at OT carries 3 points and Pool chances of winning BPL improved to 80% cos, ManC will have to beat Arsenal. 

If ManC draw or lost, than Pool the next few matches a must win especially against Spurs at Anfield. :yuush:

Speaking as per the club’s official website, Jurgen Klopp named three players in Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Darwin Nunez, who he could have taken off in the game.

Yes. Precisely why did klopp played Alexis, endo in the Europa game. We were already 5 goals up! I know they costs peanut. Doesn't mean must squeeze dry the juice out of them. I was like wtf start endo.

Sobo, Salah played full 90 minutes. Endo, Alexis 45miuntes. vVD came in at 75miuntes. Basically first team players all took part in that game. We were already goals up from 1st leg.

think the manner of the defeat and losing to one of main arch rivals is difficult to swallow.  But, the overall picture is good as we head into the business end of the season. may the lessons learnt from this defeat spur the team on.  the team didnt play badly, just didnt take their chances and committed mistakes all at the wrong places and timing.

Klopp probably thought that his mentality monsters can last another 90 minutes before the international break... he is right but the game went into extra time..

Indeed more youngsters could have taken to the field for the Europa League game...
