Harvey Elliott has asked Levi Colwill to ‘have a chat’ with him, after the defender was linked with Liverpool.

Colwill is reportedly assessing his options ahead of a return to Chelsea this summer, with claims abound that Liverpool are huge admirers.

Before he heads back to Cobham though, the 20-year-old is featuring for England at the U21 Euros. And having qualified for the final with a 2-0 win over Israel last night, Colwill took to Instagram to share his delight.

Liverpool bid could be tactical.

If Liverpool bid €200m (£170m) then Madrid has to match or top that offer.

Now if Madrid makes the offer and Mbappe accepts then Real has a €200m hole in their pocket.

Liverpool can help with the big hole by paying €80m for Tchouameni or €60m for Valverde!

What if Madrid don't bid and we have a £170m hold in our pocket?

Then Salah will be off to Saudi for £100m with Hendo for £30m and Thiago for £20m

:D

And we will have Mbappe in our front line.

you probably have too much faith in our owners... if such bid was ever placed... no one (including PSG / Real) will ever believe... fake news!

Mbappe said his mum's favourite team is Liverpool.

What Mbappe said about Jurgen Klopp

"What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing," he told BBC Sport. "They're like a machine, they've found a rhythm and are like 'we play again, we play again'.

"They've lost zero games. When you watch you think everything's easy but that's not easy. The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.

"Now the problem is that everybody watches Liverpool, and everybody watches what we can do against them, so now they have to show they are strong again but it's a very good team with a very good manager."

If Saudi wants to put the Saudi League on the map they need a big star in his prime lah Salah.

Common Sheikhs offer Liverpool 100m for him!

:D

Then Liverpool can get Mbappe.

PSG will not let Mbappe leave next year for free.

Real spent big on Bellingham and cannot sign Mbappe.

So only Pool is left.

Best is we sign him in Dec for a lot less.

Then we sell Salah next year!

aiyah, he say so much, but the main question is, will he join a team that doesn't have CL football?

If other teams offer 200m euros to PSG

then he has a choice.

What if only Liverpool wants to buy him?

Then he stays at PSG and PSG lose 200m euros and the owner of PSG already said

that's not going to happen!

True la, but if Pool cannot meet his wage demand or he doesn't want to come for whatever reason, PSG also LL ....ultimately the choice still lies with the player  since he still has a contract with PSG

I will watch how this plays out with my popcorn.

I would really laugh if he walks out for free best year!

A foolish football club owner and his money is soon parted.

I think PSG owner is making a bit mistake to declare he cannot leave for free.

There is really nothing they can do if the player wants to run down his contract. By going public about the player contract, it is just giving an ultimatum which the owners have no leverage.

Further to that, other teams will just take advantage and low ball them for his signature.

Yeah, that would be fun. Karma then, since they got Messi for free.

Yahoo news

Premier League side Liverpool are set to reignite their interest in signing Torino defender Perr Schuurs, according to reports in Italy.

The Reds have already been busy in the summer transfer market with Alexis Mac Allister joining from Brighton for £35m before swooping for RB Leipzig’s Dominik Szoboszlai for £60m.

The Athletic confirmed yesterday that Liverpool are unlikely to sign another new midfielder unless the Merseysiders sell one of their existing stars with ‘no gap to fill’.

Liverpool have eight first-team midfielders on their books with Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott, giving Klopp a selection headache.

Liverpool won’t pursue a deal for Southampton’s Romeo Lavia unless another midfielder leaves the club, according to reports.

Just yesterday Ben Jacobs claimed that the Reds are “very much in the race” for Lavia, who is also a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, with the Saints looking for £50m to seal a deal this summer for the 19-year-old.

Liverpool have already signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton in a deal worth around £35m, while Dominik Szoboszlai joined from RB Leipzig over the weekend for £60m.
