Finished all square (2-2).

We should have buried them by HT.

Yet needed a late penalty to salvage a point.

sigh……

A classic sensational game...macam the most recent wc final liddat...not the most preferred result...a great end to end game since the first kick off that's worth watching...no need any beer or chip...😁

The habitual back passing and slow build up between the 2 central defenders finally bit Pool hard on the back.

As I always said, Pool has a bad habit of slow build-up by back passing between the 2 CDs and the keeper, inviting presses and pressure unnecessarily.

Today, this was finally exploited by Man U. Bruno was anticipating that pass from Quansah to VVD and he just ran into the pass and chip it over the keeper immediately .  Seems like something he has train for in the training ground

Haiz......what a mistake.

I tink it'll all boils down to goal difference bt pool and mc...spurs as their only roadblock...gunners as well plus mu and the blues...

Pool better be more clinical and score more goals till the end...

Salah and nunuz were woeful to say the least.

They were anything but clinical in their finish.

Many bad decisions between the front today.

Nunez often hold the ball too long when he should have pass.

Salah's shooting was totally off. Maybe because he fast during this puasa month?

Even Diaz sometimes held on the ball for too long

The only neat player was Macca. His decision-making was often spot-on.

Only watch from 60th min. Wonder why Klopp move Salah into the no. 9 role and took Nunez/Szoboszlai out... at least these two would have cause some chaos for Gakpo and Diaz to take advantage...don't tell me Salah scored the equalizer... it's not that difficult to score from the penalty spot..

Think we need 5 senior forwards (below 30yrs of age) in the team...

Agree. Diaz and Nunez need to release the ball earlier while Salah need to retain ball better. Salah seemed to have a problem playing with his back facing the opponent's goal.

Maybe Man U kept their shape well and our players took more touches than usual. Our passing too predictable and players are not making themselves available to receive a pass. If we can't have 3 Maccas playing in midfield, the other players need to pass the ball faster. If not sure whether to try squeeze a ball between two man U players or do an Hollywood pass, just quickly pass the ball to the nearest team mate available. Quansah, if not passing to VVD or Kelleher, tend to take a couple of seconds to look around... same for Jones at times...

The subsElliot, Gakpo and Gomez came in and tried to do that.. so the coaching team knew what was the problem.. our players slow decision making made it easy for the opponent to regroup and get behind the ball.
