If the rich Saudis want to put Saudi football on the map

they should make a big signing like Salah!

He is a very big star to the Arabs.

One of their own and the best player in the world!

He only gets 350k at Pool.

They can offer him a million a week!

:D

That will really launch the Saudi League!

Saudi football has arrived!

think even if we are to cash out of the current playing squad via the Saudi's oil fund.. need to do it systematically and avoid sudden unplanned sales... new players which Klopp can get in will take time to bed in.

If hendro, Fabinho and Thiago are all let go.. our MF will easily become the biggest problem in the new season no matter who we play in those positions

Fabinho's deal less likely...  40M probably wont cut it if I was FSG. case in point, they are thinking of asking 20M for a 33-year old hendro.

Jurgen Klopp has told Jordan Henderson that he’s free to leave Liverpool, as he won’t be playing much next season.

“The plan is to sign one more, with Romeo Lavia in the list for sure. For sure they want one more. This is why Klopp was very honest with Henderson and the decision of the player is to say yes to Al Ettifaq.

Al Ettifaq started the conversation to sign the player for free, then Liverpool said no way.

But Al Ettifaq thought they had the opportunity to close the deal for around £10m.

Liverpool have been continually linked with a move for the £15,000-a-week-earning Colwill, with the Reds seeing him as their first-choice centre-back target.

:D

Huh Chelsea only pay him 15k a week?

How is he valued at Chelsea?

Steven Gerrard has promised Jordan Henderson the chance to learn from him as a coach if he leaves Liverpool for Al Ettifaq.

And according to Sky Sports journalist Melissa Reddy, Gerrard’s pitch has been absolutely crucial in convincing Henderson to end his 12-year stay at Liverpool.

Stevie G join the wrong club.

Al IttiHAD has lots of money and offered 40m for Fab.

Stevie joined Al IttiFAQ got no money and wanted Hendo on a free

and now only wants to pay 10m.

Saudi Arabia's Al Ettifaq are under pressure to raise cash to pay Jordan Henderson's £20m transfer fee - despite agreeing £700k-a-week wages - because they are NOT backed by the Public Investment Fund.

Poor Hendo 700k so near and so far!

:D

‘Doubt’ over Ettifaq’s ability to afford Henderson means Saudi move could be off – report.

‘Al-Ettifaq don’t have the back of Public Investment Fund, so their budget isn’t unlimited. Situation isn’t cut and dried’.

Al Faq wants to pay Hendo 700k for 3 years and cannot afford 20m?

That's BS. 700k x 52 weeks x 3 = 109.2m

‘Very honest’: Fabrizio Romano says £20m player would barely play for Liverpool this season.

Jordan Henderson has been told he won’t be starting many games for Liverpool next season if he stays at the club.

Both Hendo and Fab moving will depend largely if Liverpool can secure replacement.

Hendo replacement is Fab for now. So if Hendo goes, Fab will take over his position. If Fab goes too, then Liverpool need somebody of equivalent caliber and pedigree, not some young promising player.

I don't see any player available right now without paying with a Heart and Brain. So even if both are to leave at 40, 50 million pounds, likely other club will carrot Liverpool knowing they have the cash.

No real hurry to push these two players out just because of money.

Official.

Fabinho has been left out of Liverpool's squad for a training camp in Germany following a £40m bid for the midfielder from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.

Very easy lah.

Saudi only have 14m Hendo and Pool want 20m so 6m short.

Hendo is on 700k for 3 years so he pays the 6m lah

and takes a pay cut of only 700k less 38k or 662k a week.

:D
