You have ask Ah Gong why right exit was build in the 70s

Cheaperer Betterer Fasterer. Compared to now, laying less tarmac, so less cost. It is a shorter more convenient way to exit. You faster get out of the expressway.

Ah gong last time not rich. Now so rich can build anything.

So next month erect ERP, cost $10 to use the exit.

Yesterday evening at 4.40 pm, witness 2 incidents of near missed accident in Lane 1.

1) A PHV Honda Vessel jammed brakes after passing the closed 'right' exit (with barricades). still thinking that he can make a right turn into the slip road. His action causing a taxi to jammed brake and myself too had to jam brakes.  At least the PHV accelerated and moved on and his next actions really caused a chain collision.

Just after Jln Anak Bukit flyover, he tried to filter recklessly to the left by cutting across 4 lanes to go to the exit of BB Ave 6 causing vehicles behind to jam brakes. :lll._.:

2) From my rear view mirror, a chng Yellow Honda Fit which who was following behind me on Lane 1 having his right signals on suddenly stopped upon seeing that the barricades had sealed the right exit. This cause vehicles behind to jam brakes and served to the left (Lane 2) to avoid a collision.

Didn't see what happen after as I was driving ahead and looking at the Honda Vessel actions after Jln Anak Bukit.

Wonder how many accidents had happen at that area yesterday ? :slow:

This bodoh LTA is really bodoh... just clear a small area of trees on the left to put signboard and that's it? don't even bother to verify if motorists can actually see the signboard from far?

Blocked by trees as usual. No signs on median for those in Lane 1

Ku ku drivers only see what's only in front of them.... :we-all-gonna-die:

They don't see signages by the side of the road or read the electronic signboards along Highways/Expressways above.

Only things they see are the ERP gantries and the amount to be deducted crossing them :wut:

Trees belong to NParks, roads belong to LTA.

They don't talk to each other.

NParks often plant trees that blocked road signs or don't trim it, until it block.

Oh yeah, they don't talk to each other. They do their own job, and KPI is achieved.

True but sad. Remember PS21? https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/history/events/d1c30f1c-074b-4507-b819-69cccbe8f713 Turning out to be BS21

LTA is always bodoh. They don't care and bother if the things they do work in actual situaton or not. They just do for the sake of doing. Many signboard put up don;t know for who to see one.

Like there is one signboard along Balestier Rd outside the condo OKIO before turning into CTE. Now then i notice there is a signboard there, but it is put up so high until don't know for who to see.

So if i see trees blocking the road sign, i should inform NParks or LTA? 😅
