My only concern is if scoot is delayed etc

not so fun with baby 😂

the return train - gotta prep to reach 2 hours ahead or more?

with SQ I get lounge access - I don’t know if scoot has that..

I might check if my CC has some link ..

There will be a train but will be a little tight. Immigration queues are bloody long in Japan these days. When I was in Osaka last Dec it took me 1hr plus after landing to get out. With the hoards of tourist now, might even be longer.
the train ride to Osaka main station will take 45-1hr. Then it’s another 30-40mins if they have the express train to Kyoto at that time.

I would think after queuing 1hr for immigration you might be tired. Maybe you can be faster as you have baby, but this time in Tokyo I see loads of parents with strollers also in the priority queue! 🤣

thus my suggestion to take a breather in Osaka or airport hotel.

Recently some malaysian in march shared on FB. Landed in haneda at 1050pm, cleared immigrations at 345am...

shack out. sakura power!

I last went in 2017 or 18. Cherry blossoms. Many tourists in the kiUymura. Fushi inari. Arasshiwa and most temples lar. Hee. Peak season.

But getting a cab still doable. Not too difficult to hail one.

Bro, do you think the Fushi Inari is something two adults with a baby in a stroller can climb? I really like that place, a KPI destination, but baby number one...

if u have a baby and u intend to travel.... i suggest places where u can drive easily... OZ and NZ is your best bet. its really really tough to travel in JP, SK with a kid in tow... esp JP cos there is a huge influx of tourists. even with my bloody apec card, it still took me quite a while to clear customs... let alone the normal queue...

From the SQ website:

"Can Scoot passengers use KrisFlyer lounge?

Please be informed that customers travelling on Scoot flights are not eligible to access the lounges."

Yes. Push a stroller and you go into priority queue. But like i said. Also don’t count on it being fast as many tourist with strollers too. But still faster than general queue.

Inari with baby??😬

Can, strap the baby on the body and depends if you wanna reach the summit. If you want to reach the summit, then tough it out with all the steps and inclines slopes. Will take about an hour plus to reach the top  at normal pace. I hike Bukit Timah regularly, and I remember I still needed rest 3/4 to the top of Inari and all I carry was a haversack.

If you have stroller, may have to carry it.  There are lots of steps.

Interesting review of KIX to SIN

Everything on board costs money, phew...

Yes..budget airline mah....food and water all need to pay...

Please read the reviews - i am also contemplating to fly scoot until wifey read a lot of horrific news about flying scoot...please make yr own judgement.

Anyway, wifey found a slightly cheaper route to Haikkaido apart from SQ and JAL...:yeah-im-not-drunk:....Just finished the whole plan....
