In my situation, he lost the deal becos he was dishonest. 

if he was honest, i might have continued with some negotiation and closed it.

dishonesty goes way beyond the moment.

 

in the end i got the Car from a professional honest dealer, who came clean on everything and was such an easy straightforward deal.

viewed it and concluded deal with payment all done the following day.

not only has he won this business, in future i have no qualms in returning to deal.
