No watch the beginning. Maybe based on past year award, usually Top 10 would overrun, so they rush in the beginning to allocate more time for Top 10. But this year seems like those who got the award no long speech, so ended left with too much time. But sammi only sing one song, a bit wasted.

From the looks of it, it seemed like they planned for each major award to be about 15 mins each. One award segment then one commercial break.

So to adhere to this 'schedule', they rushed through all the beginning bits. The first Popular Newcomer award, don't even got speech. Then subsequently the middle part like Supporting Actor/Actress and All Star award, they play the music to rush off the winner.

After that middle part then I think they realised they went too fast. They really cocked up the timing badly.

Ya Sammi only one song, damn wasted. Jam Hsiao got four songs leh.

If I’m Jam Hsiao, I also choose someone much younger lor. 😂

Every year star award always cocked up the timing badly, most of the time is overrun. 

Dont know why Sammi only one song and Jam Hsiao so many songs. They should arrange Sammi to sing two songs esp so long never see her on tv liao.

Funny thing is Star Awards ceremony itself have won the Star Awards for Best Entertainment Special Programme for the past 3 years.

Actually every year many awards won also the same old people lo, nothing special.

I thought that was very long ago. 

Why is she so popular? That was also quite long ago. Until now she is still very flat(chested). I used to know ppl who are her fans, go to her concert type.

not only star awards, I almost never watch any more local productions, other than movies from Jack neo and Mark Lee.

I keep seeing ppl condemn local productions here, so surprise to see some who condemn still watch. I never condemn, I just skip. [laugh][laugh][laugh]

I think opening up to radio DJs a bit unfair. They got a much more loyal audience than the TV stars.

Radio should have their own awards mah.
