Ex wives are vindictive.

If you want to see your daughter pretend you don't want to and the mother will force you to look after her.

If you want to abandon your kids it's wrong but many people do it then pretend you want to see her and the ex wife stop you seeing her.

Be smart in life.

did not read through the long story but it would seem that there are a few reports made to the police that contain untrue statements .. if so the ex wife can be charged for making false police reports .. serious ..

everything is he say, the wife say, nobody ask the girl who is already 9-11 yo?

even if the girl lies because the mother taught her what to say, mean she also dun like the father?

singapore should also have lawyer representing the child in divorce case to fight for her wish, entitlement and benefits, like in Australia.

I guess the problem lies with the exwife who is unable to conceive with the new husband. After 5 years then chut pattern and try to get the daughter back.

She could be using friends to make the emergency calls against the guy. The police will surely contact the next of kin other than the father.

Why did the police not take his words seriously when he has the custodian right over the child? Does he has some kinda criminal record?

But overall I think the ex wife's motive is clear. She can always pamper the girl and manipulate her. And the girl probably felt life is better with the mother than with the helper the father had hired to take care of her.

From his story, it is quite unbelievable that the false police reports by the ex wife were not dealt with. His reports were not investigated. It seems all the agencies were not acting according to rules and procedures!

if he manage to clarify all the accuses, the police can charge her for all the false police reports.

but he try to file complain of the police mishandling his case, i think he assume too much that the police have to know all the background of the family matter when attending to the wife's police report. IF they dun attend and things happen then become the police's fault for not taking action [laugh]

if you have dealt with them before, you might realise that systemic "how dare you question us, limbey no need entertain you" attitude ... for lack of better word... is prevalent in basically all state apparatus. Example; SAF was famous for it in the past, now improve alot.

The case of the school boy who committed suicide after being accuse of molest did throw up a big outcry about how things are done. Maybe changes were made after that... maybe not, who knows.

 

The below statement from him ... if true... shows the balance of power. But i had rather similar experience before.

"I then filed a Magistrate’s complaint in the State Courts after the Police’s inactions and the Magistrate ordered the police to open an investigation.

The appointed Investigation Officer did not take any statement from me or interview me, (I did not even get to see him) and then closed the investigation and my Magistrate’s complaint was dismissed by the court.

I had written to the Police Commissioner and to the Home Ministers but my pleas to look into this matter but received no satisfactory answers."
