GratefulPioneer Neutral Newbie March 31, 2023 Share March 31, 2023 Encountered once where the caller claimed that he is calling from DBS Bank and he is able to provide me with some of my personal details. But once he mentioned that there were some suspicious transactions with my DBS account, I hang up immediately as I only have a POSB account with them. After sharing the incident with my children, they advised me not to response to any phone call, regardless where are they calling from. I had also received call claiming that my child was kidnaped, with crying noise in the background, but they did not know that my children are all working adults. But if they claimed that it was my grand children who was kidnaped, I might have fall into their trap. Lucky me. ↡ Advertisement
