Of course you're gonna say "submit all the reports you want" - because you will just rack up all the fines and ignore paying them off. And then continue committing the same traffic offences over and over again, 'cause there's no interests on those unpaid 20-30 fines that you have chalked-up over the years that's amounted to thousands of dollars, and no jail term involved so long as you don't turn up for the court summons.

... Until you realise that there's a bigger dick out there than you... and then all of a sudden there is a real fear of the unknown; of incurring downtime for your vehicle + having to fork out real cash to pay off the tow truck guy, or chalk up more credit card debt to pay off the workshop guy.

And now you get so angry at this f**ker who stepped forward and said something, because you thought you were the biggest dick around when the traffic police nor the parking wardens couldn't do anything against you. Until now. When you also realised that you can't make a police report against this f**ker either, because the dashcam footage you provide as proof would only serve to incriminate yourself at the same time. (the dilemma!)

But wait! How about selling off the car and getting another ride with new plates? Let's do that! But... for some strange reason you get marked very soon again thereafter, because you're still driving in the same dick manner, albeit with a different car this time. And your face has been spotted at least a hundred times before as the owner of the old, and new vehicle.

And then, eventually after some time, you realise that the only way out of this shitty situation of being a 'marked' guy driving a 'marked' vehicle - is to drive nicely and park nicely, as well as behave like a courteous driver to other road users and pedestrians.

Like a good, law-abiding citizen.

Do I need respect from guys like you? Nah - I don't. Guys like you always wish guys like me were dead.
t's natural response coming from the predator when they suddenly find out that they've become the prey themselves.

PS: It's funny when you say "my neighbours will deal with me accordingly" - you speak as if almost everyone in the neighbourhood drives like a dick, incurring tons of tickets every now and then. That can't be true, right? Right?

@Comage I'm sure many will be in favour of you reporting the offenders to the authorities. In fact, I do that sometimes when I encounter motorists who run the red light. BUT taking things into own hands literally by causing damage to their vehicles is a NO-NO. Please continue to submit reports to TP but not cause damage to properties. 🙂

"Justice See said that Cheng is considered both a serious offender and a repeat offender, as he had two prior convictions in 1998 and 2004 for speeding."

Perhaps TP already have Cheng's car number in the database. Hence, any subsequent traffic infringement will chop chop curry pop.  😁

Actually, 2x speeding only, I don't see it as very serious la.

But, you might be right. But then, you know how they usually work la... "oh, if no damage to public property or injuries, then report to your own insurance", that kind of BS :D

Very puzzled how and why they arrested that fella on the same night. The grass is greener in some places I think :D

Now I fully understand one's seeking solace here. Lol....just curious how much amount of help will help. Think loneliness could be one's best friend. Naming anyone an enemy is easier and faster than making another new friend. Sad...

The van hit the honda but if it stopped without cause, it that a mitigating factor? 🤔

Expand

The Honda stopped because the lorry cut chevrons to come off the highway.

If Honda stopped to play jam brake or for no reason if van had a cam then got mitigating factors.

If van don't report insurance then also no case.

:D
