No I stopped the car and asked MIL to get out and take a few pics.

And then almost got stuck in the jam looping around to pick her up again.

If she wasn't my wife's mother I would have just left her there.

Nonchalantly showed me the finger.

Obviously he is a seasoned walker with many similar experience at being honked.

Nowadays when you honk at those leisurely crossing the road, either you get a finger from them, or they slam their palm on your bonnet, or they continue to cross even slower to piss your off.

yeah my point exactly. i can barely reach 30 even in longer mscp. dont ask me how i know. lol. even if possible, still a long way from 50.
