Guys, I am an existing policy holder with Budget Direct and my policy is due for renewal on 23 Oct 22. I got a quote from their website which I was quite satisfied and try to sign up. However, to my dismay, I can't as they claim that I have an existing policy with them.

I then rang up their hotline and was told that the online quotation is meant for new policies. For renewal of existing policies, we can't do it on line. She then proceeded to generate a new quote for me and I was quoted like 10% more than that of a new policy. Notwithstanding, instead of getting $100 of shopping vouchers for new subscribers, I end up with only $37 of vouchers. 

Now, question is "Is this how Budget Direct treats loyal customers that so decides to stay with them? Is this how they repay Customer Loyalty"? Lodge a complain via their website and is currently waiting for their reply. 

If there are any bros here also facing the same problem, please lodge a complain to wake their Marketing Team up!

@209752648026519 Recently they have gone petty for even a slight incident, maybe they dun need loyalty customers like us liao since they already established their footing at sg already & forum members here spamming non stop their buddy codes to bring in more customers for them.

Why I say they are petty is because they have now stop giving me the capital mall voucher rewards. My uncle did used my buddy code to buy their insurance, but I receive nothing from budget direct after the incident where I shown them other insurance companies are quoting me lower price with same coverage & asking them to match their price.

This year will be the last time I will be using budget direct insurance, I am switching to other companies since they are so mind customer comparing prices.

@Sugimoto Yeah, me too considering switching Insurance Companies. The one by Singtel is slightly more expensive but you get $350 worth of petrol vouchers. Still make sense at the end of the day!
