@bemywife alright, I think you have heard all the views and comments posted in this thread.  Do whatever you deemed fit.  I will not be posting further comments here.  Last parting words, don’t assume only you can drive a conti and question another person whether he can afford one without knowing his exact background.  Who knows he may be driving a more expensive and newer car than yours.

Old car already no one would notice. Either get it resprayed or move on. There are many better things to worry about/do. 

As for me, I am happy my regular paint shop can pick up my car and send it back when the job's done the last few times someone brushed against it and needed 1/2 panels/bumper to be resprayed. I certainly didn't check the shades under various lighting condition.

When I/wify scratched the bumper, I just touched up with bottled touch-up paint. Truth is no one cares.

We are happy to advice actually. Everyone has different expectations and of cos, this is more of a relationship between you and the workshop. 

I'm lucky to have cars that were of darker shades so matching was a lot simpler. Maybe consider getting a black car in future.. harder to get that wrong. Enjoy the ride and take comfort that at least the workmanship looks ok and the workshop is willing to do something about it.

I remember when I was really young, I made a mistake of braking too late and bumped a car at the rear very slightly, causing a scratch that was rather visible.

The older driver came out and seeing that I was a young driver and was apologizing profusely, told me he wouldn't pursue it, but just to be more careful next time. He said his car wasn't new and it's not a big deal. 

I will forever remember that uncle for his big heart, for at that moment, he saw beyond the car that had to be unblemished.

Sorry this is oot but your mentality reminded me of the incident.

But I disagree that nobody cares though, like looking at the number of car aesthetic shops around...

His is a black car. Black as in black black. And as dark a shade it can be. 😅

I don't think TS knows that we in MCF are not to fond of the uncaring elite obnoxious, arrogant, pompous types that judge people by what car they drive.

We never look down of people that drive different cars. In fact we really don't give a f on what car people drive.

We just like people that have respect for other members.

If not like if you earn 500,000k a month then everyone must kowtow  to what you say and if you earn less then shut your mouth you have nothing to say worth listening to.

We really couldn't give a flying toss what car TS drives.

And this is the problem with SG.

Judge people on what car they drive or how much money you have.

More people that think like TS and we will have a really ugly society.
