nowadays all the blks too close to each other and too many people walking around the street, may be a hazard unlike the old days.

Robotic tray return bots cannot make it, conveyor belt to put your used dishes cannot make it, and this automatic doors at tray return station also might be cannot make it. Means those people sitting highly up there cannot make it also, that's why all the things they have implemented all cannot make it?! 🙄 😅

i know a place where the food are placed on paper on top of the plate. During return, have to throw the paper away, fork and spoon drop in a pail of water. That place quite clean.

Well pointed out and it isnt just discovered.

but I stop short to say that the tray return campaign is effective.

its similar to having no traffic problems in CBD, by moving them all to Toa Payoh or Jurong.

actually problem is still around, just concentrated instead of spread out.

Good luck Singapore Good Luck

It is same as having ERP on that stretch of road, then traffic become better for that stretch of road, but the surrounding roads become jam due to people avoid ERP and use other road instead. But the traffic jam issue still there. Lol.

Now you can see why our national addiction to cheap FW is very hard to wean off. Getting automation and tech is very sexy and attractive many grants but ultimately machinery fails. Whereas employing the elderly and banglah is easier solution, cheaper and effective.

At least the tray return campaign is becoming effective. But think about last time we didn't have all these issues despite no measures being taken yet. All of today's problems stem from overcrowding...... people return trays, too many start to pile up, cleaners not enough.

Ppl always blame overcrowding.  But what's our economic model now?

Those birds are smart, sooner or later they will go in when the doors are open and grab whatever they can before the doors close after 15 secs. Then the cycle repeat.

This automated "barrier" uses sensors to open and close, much like the auto doors of shopping malls. No timer one.

Or those birds just take their own sweet time to stay inside and eat and then wait for the doors to open. Cause the doors sure would open.

Congrats, got buffet for them :D

Have la…

The doors will automatically open when diners approach the rack, and close about 15 seconds after they leave.
