Smoking is everywhere in HDB area. Esp those with eatery and shops downstairs the blk. So how?

if you live just above a coffee shop, i think it's hard to get away from 2nd hand smoke from below.

I visit some coffee shops to makan after midnight, there will still be people smoking away.

got some difference:

if one buys/rents a HDB unit above kopi shop, that person should be aware of, and prepared for, noise, smoke (of cigarettes and also cooking hoods), crowd, etc. before he/she buys/rents.

but if this block in question was not designated to have a kopi shop below, then the residents might have chosen what is meant to be a peaceful/quiet/clean place to buy/rent.

then this...

Might not be easy to tahan, if the profile of the residents are 'not compatible' with pub-goers who will be there a lot.

From the cafe owner/staff they did mentioned there were no tables and chairs outside the cafe. From the pic they looked like they operate indoors. Meaning noise and music are pretty much confined indoors. Some residents did accurately pointed out that it's those who came out to smoke who made a lot of noise and air pollution.

Smokers fault, not cafe's fault.

The similar type of cafe serving alcohol at HDB void deck if at city area will not  an issue. I did visited this type of cafe at city area.

Yisun is just the wrong place.

Just convert it into an elderly community daycare hangout and sell only liang teh and you might just see RadX and Soya there la teh together...no caffeine but codeine teh gao siew tai 😅
