nowadays these toy manufacturers all banking on the dopamine kick.

We were in some chinese version of miniso like store in Penang. Then my mum thought one of the figurines was cute and wanted to buy for the grandkids. But every single one of the ones on display are just to get you to buy mystery boxes (like loot boxes in video games) of the series.

Miniso pretends to be jap. This is a prc imitator of miniso. Lol I bought some avengers toys for Xmas gifts. But most of the other stuff no recognizable brands. Or generic soft toys. Imitators of transformers and Lego. 

Miniso one step up. It's at gurney Plaza. 

This one is in first avenue mall.
