I want to see what LHL will say or do.

Meanwhile, the man who fought a futile fight against LTK at hougang also passed away.

https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/former-pap-hougang-candidate-eric-low-dies-aged-75-pm-lee-outstanding-fighting-spirit-2084896

LTK showed class in paying respect at the wake though it is clear to anyone those competition they had were NEVER fair fights. True statesman, honourable man 👍.

Looking at that letter of praise displayed, no matter who wrote it,  I'm sure it brought some comfort to the family.

It's a lesson. When someone dies, friend or foe, just say some nice things, there's a time and place for everything,  it shows your good family upbringing and personal character.

Even if its someone you don't like, If there's even ANY doubt how what you say or even WRITE officially will sound... just for God's sake, 🙏🙈🙉🙊 stfu for a while. It will be good karma.

The Steve Jobs of Singapore.

Yes. I had the mp3 player.

Imagine if he had gotten govt support in his early days... who knows what could be possible.

Considering the amount of public funds poured into so many bottomless pits.

RIP

Blasted the world with crystal clear sounds thru his inventions and left the world so quietly and suddenly.

Invented the "holy grail" of the sound world and yet again, made a global impact from a small country called Singapore.

He did what he love, not following what is norm and lived his life simply and frills free. If he had a choice, food can come as a pill and he would have been very happy. Cos eating is a chore to him.

His secret to staying/looking young? Don't get married. 😂😂😂😂

What a man! 👍

Sincere condolences to the bereaved family.

Turbocharged

Best thing I remember is playing computer games on Creative cards and speakers. Sure, many will remember him. I was contemplating getting the latest headphones too. But just got no time to look at the details

A Singapore legend. RIP.

The guy who came up with NUTS.

And this:

Creative founder Sim Wong Hoo advised entrepreneurs not to get married

He told Yahoo Finance in an interview in 2019 that having a family means not being able to take risks.

As such, his advice to other entrepreneurs was not to get married.

WORD.

Make a few U-turns at ulu places to honor him.

RIP Mr. Sim. You are a legend in many Singaporeans eyes, and you do us proud, making the little red dot shine on the global stage.

Your are creative enough to donate your own LS430 as a prize for a charity drive, which make it to news globally.

Creative Celebrates 25th Anniversary with an Innovative Charity Drive

Taking lead in this charity drive, Sim Wong Hoo, chairman and CEO of Creative will donate his very own car, a Lexus LS430, as the grand prize for the Lucky Draw.

Creative's CEO offering up his Lexus to celebrate 25 years

If there's two things we like here at Engadget, it's charities and outspoken CEOs. Thanks to Creative accomplishing both in one fell swoop, the company will not only throw a month long celebration in Singapore, but give lucky donors a chance to roll away in Sim Wong Hoo's whip. To celebrate a whopping 25 years of staying afloat in the "treacherous" world of battling Apple while popping out sound cards, MP3 players, and other random gizmos, the firm is holding a one-month party with tons of sweet giveaway material to be handed out to winning donors. Topping the list is Sim Wong Hoo's (Creative's rambling CEO) own Lexus LS430.

Its best to retire at 55 , i say, dont work until you lose the meaning of Life itself

Going at 67 is really too soon…..

Many of them just cannot if you are just the one to be responsible for many people's livelihood.

My boss got to consider his over 3000 generals and armies, he probably got to hold on to it. I am sure if he decides to walk away. He has no problems. But he is just the chosen one.

Let alone many of them cannot make it to the financial freedom
