Asia Genesis Macro Fund itself generated a 7.9% annualized gain between its May 2020 inception and the end of 2023, without a losing year.

His hedge fund was actually doing not bad for the last 3 years with no losing years. Just that in Jan 2024 till now, it has a 18.8% drawdown.

I don't see how disastrous is that but he probably has his investment rules of cutting losses (and return the investments)) when it hits certain levels. Hedge funds are for the rich , and I don't think this is catastrophe  to them by any measure considering the gains over the last 3 years.

Anyway, at least this fund manager follows  his investment rules and honest. That's more important.   With integrity, one can always make a  come back again.

entertainment wise. Yes 

but it sort of reinforce the wrong perception that as long as u are not dark skin and asian, you are from China. Being branded Singapore as China did not gel well. Probably was a good oppertunity for him to travel here for the N korea visit as an excuse to visit us

Period 9 energy......, middle age women will rise in dominance in many areas from corporate to politics. Officially from 2024 - 2043, but the transitional effect were already felt since 5 years ago.

One cannot fight the energy of the universe.

During the last period 9, the world saw

- Queen Victoria leading the British Empire  and its expansion

-  Dowager Cixi came into power to rule China

- The beginning of women suffrage movement (the right to vote)  in the US 

Like it or not, we will see a lot more of gender diversity for the next 20 years.
