Actually when you buy perps, do you want them to be called?

Angmo banks hearsay will call back without fail so far. I have one and I do hope they call back when it's time.

Not in the near term.  
i buy perps with at least a horizon of 10 yrs so when issuer calls back so soon, i hv reinvestment issues.  Cant find a good replacement now.

no such thing as angmo banks WILL call back without fail.  It depends on their funding situation versus rates at that point in time.

however as now it is a situation of likely falling rates in the future, call backs for those papers issued with high coupons are likely

Looks like i will hold more cash first for now.

bullets better keep first, dont fire when target is so strong and running.  Fire when target is sluggish and bleeding, save bullets , go for easy kill.
