I never really followed the story when it was viral earlier in the year. Samsung was "exposed" by reviewers or social media, so they gave some vague reply.
But the other companies just act blur. 

I've nothing against it anyway. Everything we see on the screen has been changed dramatically by live PP even before we take it. Just take a look at what the same Sony phone takes vs the Samsungs/chinese phones etc.
My own phone the CMOS sensor is made by Sony.

maybe your setting is on auto update ? my setting is all manual update one.

i just updated to Android 14. tonight then i read up on the new features.

yup. my wife is using oneplus 10p. my oppo has better photos though.

The latest oppo pushed android update for my x3p and my wife's oneplus 10pro.

Allows for 80% charging limit for battery preservation. For people who have access to charging at work or at home, this would be a good way to preserve your battery. Keep your battery state around 25-80%. 

This feature is important if u want to use your phone for 3-4 years.

i charge my phone at home n in office up to 100% most part of the day, cos i left them on the charging pad, most of my phone still good after 3 years before i change phone.

If u deplete them regularly it's not that harmful. If it stays in a full charge too often, too long, the battery will degrade. 
my lenovo laptops at work, 100% plugged in, so i limit those to 80% as well. 

But every battery's sweet spot is around 25-85%. 

My last phone was used for 4.5 years. my wife's one was 5 years. So yeah, i don't mind prolonging the longevity. Of course traveling, then i will switch off the 80% limit.

My Find X3 Pro screen suffered a vertical green line. Still under the 2 year warranty so the screen replacement at Gateway was FOC. The service was hassle free as my phone has no physical damage nor water damage. Left my phone there and 1 hour later went back to collect the phone. Bonus is the replacement screen comes with built-in screen protector. 

Next door to Oppo is the Huawei store. To my surprise, the Huawei phones and tablets on working display have access to the Google eco-system. Has Huawei jail-broken Google's mandated block against Huawei?

My Oppo Find N3 also suffered same issue on the inner display within 1 months plus after buying while in USA hoilday last year. Lucky is within 3 months so changed  FOC. But now is worried only when it will happen again.
