Well talk to all the Prius PHV and taxi. The older model is super reliable. Except for the brake abs pump which spoils around 300k + km, otherwise nothing else.

@Kb27his axio (can't rem what it's called) hybrid undriveable at 500+k km that day. Wonder how issit now.

It's still in the workshop for repair. They say it's the hybrid system issue.

Hybrid would be more complicated to repair than ICE engine. They will have to find the defective sensor(s) or change some pcbs, my guess.

I'm now driving a replacement car, the same model, Axio Hybrid. This one has 300k+ km. PHV rental cars are all like that, tons of km on it. 😀

Still better than the Hyundai taxis. All the taxi uncle I speak to, all curse at it. Said the 1st 100-200k all ok. Then non stop problems.  To the old timers, crown and now prius is the best.

I told my wife one option is to keep the low mileage elantra as coe car. She said she has no confidence for 20 years. Can't even build a door handle properly.
