SE is not 1933.

More like late 60s/early 70s. Apparently the alphabets don't run in sequence.

Got source to share?

Lta only list from E plate onwards.

Sorry, I don't have the source. Those old enough (like me) will remember. SE and SQ plates are like 1970 / 1971.

Once there is any transfer of ownership , you need have an additional prefix after the numbers …

only original plate with the original ownership then behind got no prefix ..

W108 mid 1960s model

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W108/W109

One owner - maybe, maybe not, maybe transferred within family

SE is pre-war 1933

https://carplatemart.sg/car-plate-history/

likely retained plate

The W108/109 model run is from 1965 to 1972.

If what @Hubwee said about 1 owner cars not having to include the suffix (which i agree), then it falls into place.

That SE plate means that the S-class was registered late 60s/early 70s and SE is not a 1933 VRN!
