Tbh I think all these are pointless. The people are compressed until they can't even get their arms up. And even your sleeping few year old kid lying across your chest would make it hard for you to breathe. What more hundreds of kg from all the people behind u

If the escalator stops suddenly, those on it will fall backwards and there will be serious consequences. 

Seriously, need to create "snake" queue lines that will spread out the crowd and prevent "bumper-to-bumper" type of queue. 

Some police officers, at least the main one doing crowd control need a loud hailer to calm the ppl and at the same time, direct the ppl. 

Haiz. Definitely a potential accident waiting to happen.

Think it is safer here as we don't have the culture of pushing or shoving people directly, unlike in Korea, China or some European countries.
