i actually read this 😂

' Mr Branson travelled to Malaysia in 2018 to congratulate Dr Mahathir on being elected Prime Minister, and to ask Dr Mahathir to bring democracy to Southeast Asia (including Singapore).

Did he forget that his ancestors in the glorious British empire created the world's first global drug cartel?

Sadly we are still stuck in LKY era.

Thinking punishment is the ultimate cure.

You are absolutely WRONG

Ang moh is like that one. Talk alot but they are the actual culprit. In the name of something they so call claim but end up they are the cause. Karma, now they have to listen to their slave.

Their freedom and the price they pay. But I doubt most of us understand their line of thoughts. The problem is, they also don't understand ours but want to impose on us. 😆

Wasting Taxpayer's Money, just hang them,no need spend so much.

Hanging has been proven useless for a long time.

If useful, why still got illegal drugs around?

I prefer to look at it this way, yes, there are still illegal drugs around but the amount that is around is far far less than what it would have been if we had soft anti-drug laws.

Nothing can be perfectly reduced to zero, but without tough laws and punishment, the problem would be much worse than what we are seeing now over here.

It's not a perfect solution, since we're not really striking at the root or the source of the drugs, but at least if we deter the supply chain minions and the consumers, it still helps to reduce the size of the problem locally.

These new penalties are aimed at deterring the users and "encourage" them to kick the habit: https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/controlled-drugs-possession-punishment-caning-jail-3530386

The minions you see on the news could be sacrificial lamb.

Honestly, I don’t agree with all the tough law implemented during LKY era.

Once no one enforces it, everything bounces back.

Msia removes death sentence. Does the number of addicts increase?
