Spain wins the World Cup!

Full time! Spain 1-0 England

SPAIN HAVE WON THE WORLD CUP! It is captain Carmona who came good with her first half strike to seal the victory. It’s the first time the country have won the title. Huge for Spanish football.

Just watched the delayed...the lionesses fought well, controlled much of the game but poor finishes were their letdown. Strategically also not ideal with 3-5-2 against speedy Spaniards...managed to plug the hole on the left flank after like 20mins but forgotten about the other side...England had chances but seize none while Spain took the golden one to celebrate the victory...

England number 7 could had been more effective to be the playmaker in the centre mid given their number 11 missed a few chances in the first half and couldn't hold or dribble...should use her as decoy instead and let Kelly as target in the box given her height against shorter Spanish defenders. 

England keeper played well to keep their hope alived but the team just couldn't find the equaliser...

Anyway, football is such that not always the better team deserves to win but the team that seizes the moment...a very entertaining final nonetheless. 

Now must go find beedeo of the jippunese vs Spaniards game...i wonder how much faster could the former be, to beat the latter...4 Filloas somemore 😁
