Me every year also got to send for inspection, really no face. But then no one cares!

Likewise for those struggle to have face value with their  300k+ badge car or 2mil+ shoebox condo when nobody cares🤣

My wife’s Nissan Sunny manual is due in Mar 2026.

still maintained at Tan Chong.

210 k mileage.

should I extend coe again or get a used gen 3 Honda jazz, maybe even the 1.5 manual?

Jazz 1.5 MT should be hard to find.

There are lots of mod parts for it

Physical and mechanical condition plays a big part. 210k km is not too high if genuine mileage, i guess it's a 2006 FL Sunny?

IMHO.
Should ask Tan Chong see if they still can support the car.

nissan sunny manual is a better bet than the Jazz I feel....i think that's a rock solid manual car, just make sure got fuel, oil and water and it will go....

Since you own the nissan for so long and you know the history, if I were you, I will stick to it.....Jazz is a good car, but it's a Honda, need to have a little bit of tender care. I have owned a Jazz and Hondas before...they need some tender care.

if your wife is those bo chup type about cars....why not continue with the ride...just my 2 cents.

My wife had enuff of manual cars...

local dealers are all about selling new cars, they dont care. if they support they support, if they stop they stop.

so no point asking.  every answer is different . even same also can change. just always be prepared to source own parts for old car

Your Jazz was cvt? Saw the 3rd gen so gearbox failure after 100 k, especially 1.5 version.

that’s why looking at the manual.

1.3 version my ex colleague said under power.

true, my stream costs much more to maintain.

They told me some parts already on indent basis. Power steering, accelerator- takes a month to reach.

normal servicing still have.

even Kah motor don’t carry parts for stream 2 years back

Yes, last of it N16.

looks bad - paintwork needs a new coat

a lot of sound - rattling or sort

clutch engagement not as smooth, need double clutch when parking, screeching belt sound in morning when aircon is on.

that is why still considering

Another option is the 2015/2016 Sienta - good car to extend COE?
Hybrid not sure whether worth it as I intend to retire within next 5 years and will be driving less

Nissan sunny manual is better? I find the manual version not nice to drive le. I find toyota manual better to drive.

If need to indent and go by spoil then replace,  you will have instances that the car will be unavailable for use.
I think will be more convenient to change to something more current.
Another alternative is to look for a model that is common over in Malaysia,  maybe easier to keep and maintain.
