The magnet got part number one.   If change ATF filer, can check if need to change the magnet mah.  Unless don't have, then no need.

Where got people change magnet one? Just clean off the metal shavings and stick it back on the oil pan la :D

I can't recall if BM got change for me when they change the CVT filter.   Usually if can, I will change - if already drop pan,  not difficult.

You mean you only change the magnets? You do need to change the oil pan and all the bolts too you know.

must to change for betterer performance. I’m sure it is much better than corner weighing the car and adjusting tire pressures.

anyone or has friends who owned Lexus beyond 10 years?  can it outlast till 300+K KM or even 400+K KM?  thanks

not talking about lexus only

Normal Taxis can do easily 100,000 km in a matter of 2-3 yrs.  taking an average of 3 yrs to hit 100,000km, a Taxi would have done 300,000km in a 10 year lifespan.  I do believe that most decent cars have the ability to last 300,000km as long as normal servicing and maintenance work has been done.  Apart from that expect the usual minor malfunction of parts like, radiator, thermostat, alternator etc… I think 300,000km to 400,000km isnt the issue but whether it is relevant for the user, emotionally and functionally.
