Gross $80, paid $40.80.

Unfortunately Smartpay not ready for the new station, else maybe another 1-2% less.

ya i saw your sharing, unfortunately I don't have. What I mean is is the station still giving out the physical vouchers when you were there?

I think is some glitch. I contacted shell and they reimbursed me Go+ points, equivalent to the discount amount I supposed to get...

Thanks for sharing. I see that there is a 2.5% admin fee per transaction and it's not a real 23% then. But then again, the nett 20+% discount is still good.

This isn't a direct caltex card i think. Perhaps a tie-up with this company called 'Diamond Sky Oil". I could not find too much info on it online, perhaps because it was newly incorporated in 2015. 23% is not for life too, probably while it lasts. There may also be annual fees charged at their discretion.

thanks for the lobang!

the way i calculate is like this, pls correct me if i'm wrong

$100 gross

$77 after 23% discunt

$1.93 admin fee (2.5% of $77)

Total paid: $$78.93

Nett 21.1% discount.

if you have any referral code, let me know so that we can share the benefits together.

i also have something similar, but its only for Shell and Esso. 23% for Shell and 24% for Esso. Any bank rebates/cashback/rewards still apply, but you won't get any Smiles points or Shell Go+ points.

Can use GIRO so as to enjoy the full 23 or 24% discunt. if use CC, 1.8% admin fee on discounted price.

I pumped $125.02 gross for Shell, after discount and admin fee, $98 nett charged to my cc. Net 21.6% discunt. and I still earn credit card points.

yes you are right.

It seems that it a tie up with Diamond Sky Oil.

From what I know, the Caltex card is usually offered to companies only. Not sure why why they are offering to consumers now.

Unfortunately, I don't have any referral code.

From what i gather, your calculation for the net discount is correct.

Below is based on 22% with Maybank CC:

Anyway, I have applied and since there is no annual fees, will only use this card when there are no vouchers to use
