Maybe spc gave up Bukit Timah region liao. The sinopec there always give 23% discount since the start.

However, the sinopec at Woodlands and yishun only give 23% discount on certain weekends. Hence, the spc marketing team think they can use the 23% promo all days at these 2 outlets  to capture the market share.

This is just my opinion. Not sure if it is really the case or not. Good that spc can give 23% discount. Hopefully they can extend to other outlets.

Competition benefits consumers

Heng got amd to press down intel price

Arent all petrol companies in cahoots somewhat?

You think if they are truly competing, they can allow SPC to undercut the rest by a few cents 24/7?

Good cop, bad cop

Caltex, Shell play the bad cop. SPC and Sinopec the other lah

@pengu

I am not sure if it can be combined with any other promo or discount.

Please don't get angry for the following comment...

I think this shouldn't matter to you since in any way, you going to use it right? If i tell you can't combine with other discount, will you give up the voucher?

If can use with promo or station discount, get ready the shell escape card and corresponding credit cards from uob, HSBC or citibank.

I will definitely use it, but just wanted to find out how to make the best use of it.

SPC has the spc card, Esso has the Esso card. But I dunno about shell….

maybe the shell card? Time to try sign up….

Typically with dollar-value vouchers (as opposed to discount vouchers), how much you pump means how much you pay, no other discounts. You can only collect points.

I don’t know about Shell, but I use Esso vouchers e.g. pump $55 and use $50 worth of vouchers, that balance $5 use credit card to pay does not get credit card discount. So I would advise to pump exact to the voucher value.

EDIT: If you decide to sell, I’d advise not to follow those people on Carousell trying to sell petrol vouchers for e.g. 5% or 10% off the voucher value like NTUC / Capitaland vouchers … think voucher expire already also no takers 😉

yup, my SOP is with vouchers, pump to voucher value.

for %age discounts, just fuel ten cos SPC don't allow vouchers when there is %age discount.
