dollar for dollar malaysian petrol is much more ex especially RON 97, MYR 3.94 no wonder hardly any locals pump 97, unless driving high end cars,  rest of population all pumping 95.

100myr doesnt get you that much ron 97 actually, heng we earning SGD.

if earn MYR can see why the malaysian govt must subside ron 95 heavily... since pple have to drive everywhere you go. 

Sg gahmen should cut the fuel excise duty for 95 fuel also🙄

If both using PDVL,

Esso PDVL (21%) with DBS Esso mastercard (>$180 per mth gets $7 off) and smiles pts 

Vs

SPC PDVL (25%) with POSB everyday 6%

 

Which one you chose?

from the options you provided, i would say SPC + POSB is a better choice. straight off discounts and rebates no matter how much you pump.

for the Esso + DBS the $7/mth will be worth lesser % as you pump more. smiles points % i think is around 1-2%? 750pts(750L) for $30.

 

but of course there could be many other variables, like additional discount coupons from Esso, other CC which gives higher rebates etc.

Ah, forgot to mention for PDVL, Esso will give us $3 off $50 (about 10-20 piecesmand $4 off $60 few pieces).
