There was a time when SPF came very hard on fines but then after that back to normal. If too much enforcement then people will complain POLICE STATE, but again there are arswipes who leave drink cans in lift after drinking rather throwing in garbage bin (knowing there is lift camera) how you expect people to follow law when they know police will not be always there to catch them. You can stand at any junction and see how many car would pass with kids and not properly secured, again more enforcement is needed to keep people in check. ↡ Advertisement
PSP415 Supersonic December 8, 2022 Share December 8, 2022 Haiz It is very sad that parents need the law and enforcement to keep own kid/kiddos safe, especially in the car that they are driving. Complacency, laziness and pure idiots who should not have kid/kids. For that matter, should not have any passengers onboard at all times. Orbigoot when kid/kids/loved ones get smashed thru windscreens and die cos not belted up. It's what they deserve for taking such risks to avoid a crying child, a difficult moment etc. Please belt up. Your life, your kid/kids/loved ones. Dun expect the law to follow you 24/7 on matters of self safety. Got seat belts, use them. What u need next? An upsized brain? Stay safe all Cheers

"The Straits Times (ST) reported that the man's son was seated on the right rear passenger seat beside his wife, who was seated on the left and holding on to their baby." Hence, can be quite sure baby is not secured to a baby seat.

Hence, can be quite sure baby is not secured to a baby seat. Seems none of them was secured with seat belt (except driver). Son was also injured, which implies he was also not secured (unless other passengers fall at him and injured him). I hope drivers can take a harsh lesson from this incident and belt up (regardless who was at mistake, life was lost and family have to live with their decision and pain). 2

Jamesc Hypersonic December 9, 2022 Share December 9, 2022 It's not first time. It's not the road. It's not the sign. It's the nut behind the wheel.
