Knee pain without injury

I had knee pain. Can you imagine, IPPT must do standing broad jump ?

What happens when you land with 80kg hitting the knee ?

I had no choice but to seek a knee operation, arthroscopy, on the left knee, at TTSH. It felt better, but I didn't follow up on my right, as I was out of reservist by then.

Glucosame didn't work for me. I didn't seek other treatment. I'd just be careful when taking stairs. with a light angle.

I've been having knee aches for the past month. Doctor Google told me it's osteoarthritis. My symptoms are painful and stiff joints, especially in the morning when I wake up or after a prolonged period seated. Awfully painful to straighten and bend my knees. Any advice other than seeing a doctor which I will once I can afford the luxury of time?

Unless you are a sports person, it is just not right to have pain in the knees so soon.
how old are you?  30++?

base on your description, it does really sound like osteoarthritis.

if it is early stage 1-2, you can easily get some gel implants or injections.

if it is later stage, 3-4  you will need to get a knee rebuild.

so like what many fellas say here, you cannot wait to see a doctor any further.

Should immediately go to polyclinic and referred to specialist for subsided rates.

Get your knees right and you can work for longer later. The other way around usually is a more difficult road, as much as its not immediately obvious.

I have used two types. Both are effective. Now I am on one.

I was unable to walk for 10 days. My daughter bought for me and since then no problem.

My mum has this problem, take pain killers if it's really a bad day.

Best way is to just sit on a nice couch and kick your leg up and down, it'll be more painful if you don't move but also don't move too much.

Aging is never fun, it's painful; literally.

Did not work for my knees. Besides, made me very heaty. However, strengthening and flexibility exercises worked well for my osteoarthritis and worn joint (my patella can move around quite a lot).  Added 10 years to my sports life.
