Although they are public figures, I don't expect them to be saint-like, they are just as fallible as many of us, but they should know better they are subjected to various tests for being sport-persons. They don't know the saf motto of do anything you want but don't get caught? 😂

TBH, and this is just my humble opinion, cannabis is a relatively 'mild' drug compared to the rest (heroin, ecstasy etc). It doesn't have any performance enhancing properties, and is mostly just used for relaxation.

It should still be controlled, yes, but it shouldn't be viewed too harshly IMO.

It is an offence to consume drugs in Singapore. Those found guilty of taking a controlled drug such as methamphetamine or "ice", heroin and cannabis can be jailed for between one and 10 years, or fined an amount not exceeding $20,000, or both.

Those found to have consumed controlled drugs outside Singapore will also be liable for the drug consumption offence

-------------

According to the news article both were issued with "formal warning" .

🤔🤔🤔

What really transpired is unclear. Was this a drug test related to a sporting event that caught them out? Not mentioned at all. It just says that Schooling "confessed". He boh tai boh ji confess for what? Not logical leh

That girl not so sure. As for schooling he is currently in the army. There might be some sort of (urine)testing regime.

Start small, take the first small step. Before leading to more hard core drugs.

Cannabis is very different in nature from hard drugs. It really is more akin to tobacco, just stronger in some ways.
