Nan Rong Chee Cheong Fun Has $0.80 Yam Kueh And $1 Chee Cheong Fun At Bendemeer

Google review (5 months ago) - Very traditional chee cheong fun with no fillings. The yam cakes were very fresh as well.
Chee cheong fun is $1 each and yam cake - $0.80, definitely a steal in today’s economy.
Do come here and support the aged aunty at the stall. I’ll return to buy the nonya dumplings which looks really good too.

$5 For Crispy Chicken Cutlet, Garlic Butter Fried Rice & Sides At This Western Food Stall!

Google review (a month ago) - Old school western food style prepared by an elderly couple.
The chicken chop set came with a scoop of fried rice. A filling meal for those with a big appetite. For $5.50, it's great value for money.

Google review (3 months ago) - Had lunch here on 11 May 2022, the meepok i had is extremely spicy.. i think they used chilli padi or something.. think need to tell them to not add so much chilli if you cant take too much spice.. overall, the fishball is nice, soup not salty, meepok is ideal for me 😊 price very reasonable from $2/$2.50/$3... i ordered the $3 portion.

Google review (a week ago) - Worth the queue. Very reasonable prices and the roast pork is very very good. Already made up my mind to frequent this stall even though its really out of the way for me for lunch.

While you're in the area, you can also get bananas for a grand price of $1 per kg at the market behind.

Be warned though, they have cosmetic blemishes (like bunches with 1/2 bananas missing) but are perfectly fine to eat.

Will go down there to take a pic of the stall (and have the fish all noodles) this weekend, btw it's just behind the cooked food stalls and there is iirc only 1 (big) fruit stall in the market 🙂
