That is a stupid rule.

Even school bus must be retrofitted with sear belts for the passengers once the regulation change.

Why so. You should know that it is not so easy to retrofit belts back then. Go ask your dad if he had a car then.
Try retrofitting belts to your vintage car then. See if the values will plummet!😂

If due to ruling no need to have seat belts, then it would be quite dangerous to continue driving this car liao.

That's why I say stupid.

$ vs life.

Retrofit is not impossible, just a matter a question of $.

Vintage cars are not meant to be cheap to own anyway.

Just like the AMAP, just because it is hard to enforce bicycle registration, they just let them get away with it.

looks like there is no seat belt or they are not putting on one

My 2002 also does not have belts and does not need them since it's originally without, though I wouldn't mind fixing them in. But no, not cheap. And it won't be as nice looking as what you see on modern cars because the rolling mechanisms will all be outside of the pillar unlike modern cars. Otherwise will have to be lap belts.

Will prob put them in in time.

I have a classic motorcycle that came from the era when rear view mirrors and turn signals are optional

I sent it for VITAS without them so that I can have the option to fit them if I want in future

yes, the original (optional) turn signals cost a bomb and made from unobtainium

found a NOS set from a guy in Finland after many years for a price that I don't want to remember

they are too precious and too beautiful to put on the bike

the bike has replica turn signals on it now, I feel unsafe after riding it for a while without them though it looked cool

I forgot if I have posted this before, but no harm in having it here since it is a nice and niche modern classic from France.

BTW, there is nothing special with this Spécial, 'cos it is the name of the entry level variant (read: bare bone). :D

I like its looks. Looks lean and mean.

Think it was sold as accord euro S for a short while only in Singapore. Not many units left.

It was Accord JDM. Euro S is a slightly more sporty variant with some additional trims.

Yes.. all PI brought in. 2.4 litre engine. Packs quite punch !

Tamer version of euro r,  using K24a engine with about 200bhp  instead of K20A used in euro R (220 bhp+)for more relaxed driving  style I think lol cos more initial torque earlier in the rev range. Kobayashi can probably confirm lol 😆
